A Family-Favorite Easter Dessert: Delicious Dessert
No spring gathering is complete without something sweet! This recipe has been in my family since 1979, and while variations exist, this is the original that has stood the test of time. It’s cool, creamy, and utterly decadent—the perfect addition to your Easter brunch or any occasion that calls for an unforgettable treat!
Delicious Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:

1 cup flour
-
1 stick butter, softened
-
1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup powdered sugar
-
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened

9 oz. Cool Whip, divided
-
2 packages instant chocolate or butterscotch pudding

3 cups milk
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9" x 13" pan.

In a bowl, mix together flour, butter, and pecans until well combined. Press into the bottom of the pan.

Bake for 20 minutes and let cool completely.

In a separate bowl, beat powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.

Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip and spread over the cooled crust.

In another bowl, combine pudding mix and milk, beating for about 2 minutes until smooth.

Fold in the remaining Cool Whip, then spread over the cream cheese layer.

Refrigerate until set. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
