Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Heartfelt Thank You!

Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Heartfelt Thank You!

As the holiday bells chime and the season of joy surrounds us, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support throughout this year. Your loyalty and passion for needlework keep this little shop alive, and I am truly grateful.

To show my appreciation, I’m thrilled to announce that our 12 Days of Christmas Sale is being extended through December 31st! If you missed out on any of the festive deals, now’s your chance to snag some goodies and continue your stitching journey into the new year.

In the spirit of transparency, I also want to share something personal. Since September 2022, I’ve been working tirelessly every single day—12 to 18 hours a day—to keep this business thriving. While I’m passionate about what I do, it’s time to take a step back and recharge. Starting December 25th through January 5th, I’ll be taking a much-needed break to rest and rejuvenate.

But don’t worry! The shop will remain open for orders during this time. While we’ll fulfill them once I return, your patience means the world to me. I promise it’ll be worth the wait as we prepare to bring fresh, inspiring products and ideas to life in 2025.

And because no holiday blog is complete without a delicious family recipe, here’s a little treat from my family to yours:

Mom’s Muddy Buddies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 9 cups Crispex cereal

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Crispex cereal and set aside.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Pour the chocolate mixture over the Crispex cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.

  4. Transfer the coated cereal to a large resealable plastic bag. Add the powdered sugar, seal, and shake until well-coated.

  5. Spread the Muddy Buddies onto a baking sheet to cool and dry. Store in an airtight container (if they last that long!).

This simple and delicious treat is a holiday staple in my family, and I hope it brings some sweetness to yours! We always double the recipe but make sure you have a bowl or bag big enough to stir everything in because it makes a lot!!

Thank you again for being such an important part of this journey. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, filled with love, laughter, and a touch of stitching magic. Let’s look forward to a creative and colorful new year together.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Shelly
